Here is a lovely hand painted pottery square candy or trinket dish from Boleslawiec of Poland. The piece is off-white with a blue and yellow flowers and green leaf design surrounded with a blue design trim. Underside rim also decorated. The piece is 8 inches square and 1 inch high at the edge. The piece is marked on the bottom: Boleslawiec (B back stamp) Hand Made in Poland, S.J. 61. Also has original paper label. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or stains, was only displayed and not used. Will quickly ship USPS. Love to combine shipping. Thanks.
History: Boleslawiec stoneware originated as folk art in the early 1800’s. Today, in the small village of Boleslawiec Poland, skilled artisans are creating the world's most sought-after stoneware designs.
